At the WPLC Annual Membership Meeting, there was a discussion about the organization's bylaws and many suggestions were offered on how to improve them.
The WPLC Board, recognizing this feedback, formed a workgroup to review and suggest changes to the bylaws, using the notes from the Annual Membership Meeting as a beginning point for the review.
We have recently learned that OverDrive is terminating its partnership with Barnes & Noble for OverDrive Periodicals. The WPLC's current subscriptions will be available to patrons until the end of the subscription term in October, and following that, all periodicals will be removed from Wisconsin's Digital Library. As of July 25th, periodicals are no longer available for purchase in OverDrive Marketplace. Usage reports for periodicals will still be accessible through OverDrive Marketplace.
