We are happy to share that OverDrive will transition to full HTTPS support in the upcoming site release in late winter / early spring.
Members of our library community are showing interest in and excitement about the Library Freedom Project's Digital Privacy Pledge, and the upcoming OverDrive site upgrade will help libraries keep that pledge to protect patron privacy Currently, OverDrive only uses HTTPS protocol for sign on and account pages, but in the upgrade to the site, the full site with transition to HTTPS support.
