SELF-e Submission Process for Authors

Wisconsin authors are fortunate to have access to SELF-e, a free service that allows authors to submit ebooks for review and publication. SELF-e, powered by Library Journal, allows ebooks by self-published authors to be discovered and read by an audience of several million readers.

The submission process takes approximately 5 minutes and as an author, you are welcome to submit as many titles as you would like. Please review the requirements below prior to submitting.

Books must be:

  • In a PDF or ePUB file.
  • In the English Language.
  • An original work to which you own the rights.

Upon submission, your book will be reviewed by Library Journal, and you will be notified within 4-6 weeks if your book has been chosen as a SELF-e Selection., If chosen, your book will be loaded into the Wisconsin’s Digital Library where it will be discoverable by any public library patron in Wisconsin and beyond.

To begin the submission process, please visit https://submit.librariesshare.com/self-e/.

You will have five steps to complete: terms, uploading your book, details about your book, personal information about yourself, and a final review before submission.

The SELF-e process is a simple and allows your work to be read by a wide audience.
