Beginning November 1, 2019 WPLC and all WPLC Advantage accounts should not purchase any embargoed Macmillan ebook titles. Between November 1st and December 20th, the WPLC will further discuss and research options for taking action and will have a plan by the end of this time.
If the consortium decides to move forward with purchasing Macmillan ebook titles, the consortium and any Advantage accounts will be able to purchase their allotted one copy under the One Copy/One User lending model before that model is no longer available for the titles published after November 1st. Note this does not affect Macmillan e-audio titles and those may be purchased during this time.
